We are happy to announce that we have started renovations on the “small barn” on the Overlook Barn property! Check out some of these before pictures and start dreaming with us about the after pictures ?. We are going to build a covered deck on the side of the barn and open up the back with windows so you can see the beautiful view. We think this will be an awesome spot for cocktail hour, ceremonies, or small intimate gatherings.

Overlook Barn Now Open!

After months of construction we are happy to announce that the Overlook Barn is now open for business! We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. You can see from the pictures in this post that it has come a long way from where it was at the beginning of this year. The inaugural wedding was a surreal experience and we are so excited to be able to share that with other couples. The Overlook Barn really is a unique venue that offers breath taking views of the blue ridge mountains and upscale accommodations. The barn sits high atop Beech Mountain just outside of Banner Elk, North Carolina. We hope you’ll come in and see for yourself.

Breaking Ground! Much like our venue this site is currently under construction but expect changes to be coming soon! The renovation efforts are in full throttle and it is exciting to see the venue transform before our eyes. As you can see, the Elder family construction crew finds time to stop and enjoy the fruits of their labor and tryout some of the picturesque photo opportunities that will be unique to the space.
