ISSUE WITH GOOGLE MAPS!
We are located at 830 Elderberry Ridge Road on Beech Mountain. If using GPS, we recommend using Apple Maps (or the direction below) rather than Google Maps given a major error in Google Maps.
Overlook Barn is approximately:
- 15 minutes from Banner Elk
- 35 minutes from Boone
High Level Directions:
From Tynecastle, take NC 184 N all the way to the top of Beech Mountain and then turn right onto Elderberry Ridge Road, follow until it turns into gravel and we are on the right.
Detailed Directions from Downtown Banner Elk:
- Start: Shawneehaw Ave S (Downtown Banner Elk/ Front of Banner Elk Cafe)
- Left On Main Street West
- Slight right onto NC-184 N/S Beech Mountain Pkwy (go about 3.2 miles up mountain)
- Right on Elderberry Ridge Road (If you get to Beech Mountain Vistors Center You’ve gone too far)
- Stay on Elderberry Ridge Road till you see Overlook Barn Sign (road will turn to gravel when you get close)
- Bear Right onto Barn Road
