Inside Overlook Barn you can comfortably host anywhere from 50 to 250 guests for a seated dinner and 300 for a cocktail reception. Our smaller barn, Cliffside Barn, is a wonderful option for cocktail hour or for your ceremony. Between Mary’s meadow and Cliffside Barn you have two gorgeous ceremony locations that overlook the Blue Ridge mountains and offer peace of mind in the case of inclement weather.
Our property rental is from 10am to midnight, we allow you to bring in your own vendors and alcohol, and we are centrally located in the resort town of Beech Mountain with ample accommodations, restaurants, and activities for your guests nearby!

We lovingly renovated Overlook Barn in 2015 to transform our family horse barn into a space tailored to weddings and events (starting with our own wedding!). It combines sincere character with modern amenities for the best of both worlds.

We renovated our former ‘hay barn’ on the property in 2016 to serve as an indoor ceremony location, cocktail hour space, rehearsal dinner, or intimate wedding venue.
